About Us

The Manor was founded in in 1992 by two brothers William & Eric Cook who were both farmers. During the late 1980's and early 1990's farming was in decline due to falling prices. The 180 acre farm was just not large enough to support two families so they needed to diversity. The Manor was born.

It is now home to an exquisitely maintained 18-hole Championship golf course, Par 3 academy course, Driving range, teaching academy, bar, restaurant & wedding & conference events venue. It all sits on the old farm land surrounded by tree-lined fairways and woodland which drops away with stunning views over Tong and the Cockersdale Valley between Leeds and Bradford, West Yorkshire.
