Hazel put Starr and Lewis at ease and kept everything relaxed and casual.
Their Story
When we needed a couple at short notice for a photoshoot at The Manor, Starr and Lewis kindly stepped in as our very own faux bride and groom. What started as a last-minute request quickly turned into an early-morning “wedding”, complete with a beautiful dress, heels, golf buggy and three very exclusive guests: Events Manager Becky, Owner Andrew and Marketing Manager Lizzy.
The day was intentionally kept simple, with a neutral colour scheme designed to let The Manor take centre stage and allow other couples to imagine themselves celebrating here. Starr loved wearing the big dress (at least initially!) although her sparkly antlers were sadly vetoed.
The couple "met" at work, and their journey to the altar was perhaps a little quicker than most. When we asked Starr if she’d be our bride, she wasn't convinced she could take on the role. Everyone else disagreed, and Lewis reluctantly agreed to be the groom. We're calling that a proposal.
Afterwards, Lewis went straight back to teaching golf, while Starr returned to normal life - and out of the wedding dress.
While Starr & Lewis may not have actually tied the knot, they certainly proved that The Manor can make a couple look very convincing on their wedding day.
