Hole 1

Yardage plan for Hole 1

Hole 1

White Yellow Red
Length 405 374 318
Par 4 4 4
Stroke Index 10 10 11

Most would think that at 405 yards, this would be a tough opening hole! You will see, however, when reaching your tee-shot, that the fairway falls away down to the green - this shortens the hole somewhat.

Although the green slopes from back to front it is a difficult green to hold. The advice would be to take a club less as most balls that land 20 yards short manage to reach the putting surface.

Green Board Details

Players may use buggies and trolleys ‘through the green’ but must follow all instructions, directions, and signs.

In particular players must not:

  • Take buggies or trolleys on to any putting surface or tee area.
  • Take trolleys or buggies into areas marked as GUR.

Players with buggies or trolleys should also utilise the paths whenever possible.

For a full overview of our buggy policies, please see the buggy policy page.

Decent driving range and nice pitch and putt. Good value. Excellent for beginners.
