Many golfers have come a cropper on this relatively short par 4. The fairway is extremely difficult to hold, especially in the summer.
A medium iron from the tee is the sensible option, leaving a medium to short iron to a green that is not easy to find.
Many approach shots finish long and left, so aim to miss the green on the right as the fairway will help your ball to feed down towards the green.
We are constructing a new green on the 11th hole and undertaking drainage work on holes 1 & 2. Be aware that all 3 holes may be playing to a temporary green. Green fee rates have been reduced to reflect this | Play as it lies on the fairway | Preferred lies in bunkers.
