Hole 10

Yardage plan for Hole 10

Hole 10

White Yellow Red
Length 326 305 280
Par 4 4 4
Stroke Index 3 3 10

Many golfers have come a cropper on this relatively short par 4. The fairway is extremely difficult to hold, especially in the summer.

A medium iron from the tee is the sensible option, leaving a medium to short iron to a green that is not easy to find.

Many approach shots finish long and left, so aim to miss the green on the right as the fairway will help your ball to feed down towards the green.

Course Status:

Open

11th Hole Temporary green, white tees as normal, yellows playing from the red tees. Green fee rates have been reduced to reflect this • Free relief available from the drainage channels on the 1st, 2nd & 11th fairways • The fenced area around the new 11th green is OUT OF BOUNDS. Hollow tining of the greens will be taking place Tuesday 12th Oct - Friday 15th Oct. If the green staff are working on a green please move on to the next hole. If you are unhappy about playing on greens that have just been tined we would recommend not playing during these days

The Manor is an excellent course. Well varied fairways and bunker obstacles. Good variety with water features as well. Greens are now coming on well. The green keeper's are always doing a fine job keeping the course in great condition. The pro shop are always welcoming and accommodating to enquires. The tee areas are well marked and have map boards. The back 4 holes are a tester with a great 18th hole with 8 bunkers. This is overlooked by the 19th clubhouse which is very good and serves great food.

The club has its own driving range and a great 6 hole par 3 tester, great idea especially for families. Richard the pro is always on hand and has a good professional approach and his staff always friendly. Most of my friends like the course and club and say it's not the easiest but a great challenge. I would highly recommend The Manor golf course. They have a great membership deal on at the moment check it out.
