A great par 4 of 433 yards. The tee-shot needs to be hit down the right to avoid the two large lakes to the left of the fairway.
The fairway slopes from right to left and should encourage the ball into the left half of the fairway which is the best angle from which to attack the pin.
The green slopes from right to left with two bunkers, one short right, the other pin high right in areas where you will need to land your second shot to ensure finishing on the green.
Your second shot can easily wander off the left hand side of the green if landed on the middle or left side of the green.
Arthur TravellerThe Manor is an excellent course. Well varied fairways and bunker obstacles. Good variety with water features as well. Greens are now coming on well. The green keeper's are always doing a fine job keeping the course in great condition. The pro shop are always welcoming and accommodating to enquires. The tee areas are well marked and have map boards. The back 4 holes are a tester with a great 18th hole with 8 bunkers. This is overlooked by the 19th clubhouse which is very good and serves great food.
The club has its own driving range and a great 6 hole par 3 tester, great idea especially for families. Richard the pro is always on hand and has a good professional approach and his staff always friendly. Most of my friends like the course and club and say it's not the easiest but a great challenge. I would highly recommend The Manor golf course. They have a great membership deal on at the moment check it out.
